MEVA Engineering — Precision at Every Stage of Your Project

MEVA's in-house engineering team supports contractors from pre-tender through to strip-out — providing system selection, panel layout optimisation, structural calculations, and on-site crew training.

End-to-End Forming Engineering

From initial concept through to post-pour review — MEVA engineers engage at every critical decision point.

01

System Selection & Layout

We review your structural drawings and recommend the optimal MEVA system combination — reducing component count, minimising crane picks, and aligning with your programme.

  • Structural drawing review
  • Panel layout CAD drawings
  • Component count BOM
  • Crane lift analysis
02

Structural Calculations

MEVA's certified structural engineers provide full load calculations — concrete pressure, tie-rod forces, propping loads — stamped to local code requirements on request.

  • Freshconcrete pressure analysis
  • Tie-rod force schedules
  • EN 13374 / DIN 4420 compliance
  • PE-stamped calcs available
03

On-Site Training & Commissioning

MEVA deploys field engineers at first erection — demonstrating correct panel assembly, tie-rod torquing, alignment procedure, and safe stripping sequence.

  • Crew erection training
  • Alignment and plumb verification
  • Strip sequence briefing
  • Defect identification protocol
04

24-Hour Technical Hotline

When a pour is at risk, there is no substitute for an immediate answer. MEVA's technical hotline connects site managers directly with a forming engineer — any time, any time zone.

  • Live phone support 24 / 7
  • Email response within 2 hours
  • Remote video inspection available
  • Emergency panel dispatch
05

BIM & Digital Engineering

MEVA publishes certified BIM objects for all major system components. Our engineering portal provides parametric layouts for integration into Revit, ArchiCAD, and Tekla workflows.

  • Revit families — all systems
  • IFC 2x3 and IFC 4 export
  • Tekla Component Catalogue
  • As-built verification models

Post-Pour Assessment

After strip-out, MEVA engineers conduct a surface quality assessment — documenting finish class achieved, identifying any honeycombing causes, and optimising the mix or pour sequence for subsequent lifts.

  • Concrete surface finish grading
  • Defect root-cause analysis
  • Pour rate optimisation
  • Documented improvement plan

Engineering FAQ

System Selection

The key decision factors are wall height, concrete mix and pour rate, and whether a tower crane is available. Mammut 350 suits walls above 2.7m and pour rates exceeding 1.0 m/h. MEVA Lite is optimised for walls under 3.3m where panels must be handled manually by two-person crews — typically below 2.4m floor heights in residential construction. Our engineers can review your programme and recommend the cost-optimal solution.

At 80 kN/m² maximum fresh concrete pressure, the Mammut 350 supports pour rates up to approximately 2.0 m/h depending on concrete temperature and mix chemistry. Our engineering team will calculate the site-specific admissible pour rate and provide a written confirmation for your method statement.

Yes. MEVA offers dedicated radius panel accessories for external and internal curves from 1.5m radius, as well as bespoke tapered filler units machined to project-specific angles. For complex geometry such as the Lusail Stadium's 6,800 m² of curved grandstand walls, MEVA engineers produce bespoke shop drawings and pre-cut filler assemblies.

Compliance & Safety

Yes. All published MEVA load tables are independently verified by accredited structural engineering institutes and form part of CE marking documentation. Project-specific structural calculations, including tie-rod force schedules and prop reaction loads, can be prepared by MEVA's in-house PE-grade engineers and supplied as a stamped calculation package for your method statement or permit application.

Each panel in MEVA's rental fleet is tracked by serial number. After return to depot, panels undergo dimensional inspection, frame weld inspection, and facing condition assessment. Panels with frame deformation exceeding 2mm or facing damage affecting surface finish are withdrawn from service and refurbished. MEVA provides a rental certificate confirming inspection status on request.

The Mammut 350 system achieves Class F3 (architectural finish) when paired with MEVA's 18mm phenol-resin plywood facing, correct release agent application, and pour rates within the system's design envelope. Class F2 is achieved across all panels in standard condition. Achieving Class F3 consistently requires adherence to MEVA's full pour protocol, which our field engineers provide during commissioning.
